Chesterbrook Walk-A-Thon

On November 9, 2007 Chesterbrook Academy in Manalapan, New Jersey held a Walk-A-Thon for the benefit of Alex’s Superhero Fund. The Chesterbrook students participated in a Walk-A-Thon in conjunction with their “Character Counts” week. The children had a wonderful fundraiser that yielded several thousand dollars for Alex’s Superhero Fund. They received a commemorative T-shirt for their efforts. Alex’s mom had an opportunity to address the entire student body and tell Alex’s story to the children. Also, a representative from Tomorrow’s Children Institute explained to the students what occurs at their pediatric cancer clinic. We are extremely proud of the Chesterbrook Academy students.

This walk-a-thon will always remain a special event in our hearts as this was Alex’s Superhero Fund’s first official fundraiser. What is more special than children helping other children.
